The kitchen is rooted in Scandinavian cooking with some international touches, using seasonal produce from sea and land. The restaurant has three parts. The dining room is the heart of J, open all year, with a large bar and white tablecloths. The Veranda, out towards the fairway, opens in May and closes in September, and the summer bar on the quay is drop-in for aperitifs, after work and late sunsets. Lunch is served on weekdays all year, with the full menu every evening except Monday. Restaurang J is part of Nobis Restaurant Division. Hotel J, also in Nacka Strand, says guests arriving by their own boat can moor at the jetty by Restaurant J, space permitting. On land there is free parking in the area, and the bus stop is about three minutes' walk away.
